Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information is collected through this website (tamkeen.studio), how it is used, and the rights you have over it. The site is operated by Tamkeen Kiani (“I”, “me”), who is the data controller.

What I collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to enter in the contact form:

• Your name and email address
• The subject and message you write
• The date and time of your message, a two-letter country code (for spam filtering), and a record that you gave consent

I do not use advertising cookies, and I never sell your data or use it for marketing.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use it, so I can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as the pages you visit, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the site or search that brought you here.

Analytics runs only if you accept in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.

This is used only in aggregate to see what is useful and what is not. I do not use it to identify you personally, and it is not linked to anything you send through the contact form. You can also opt out across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Why I collect it and the legal basis

I use your details for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the box on the form. Your information is never used for marketing and is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

How it is handled

When you send the form, your details are delivered to me by email and are not stored in any database on this website. The processors involved are Cloudflare (which hosts the site), Resend (which delivers the email), and my own email provider, each acting under their own data-processing terms. The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your browser's request data when a page loads.

How long I keep it

Your message stays in my email inbox only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and is deleted when no longer needed. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email me at [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).
